Can Akitas be left off leash?
Can Akitas truly be trusted to be left off leash unsupervised? Given their powerful instincts as hunting dogs and their natural tendency to chase, wouldn't it be risky to let them roam free? Or is it possible, through proper training and socialization, to ensure that they remain obedient and respectful towards others even when given the freedom to roam? What specific steps can owners take to ensure their Akitas are SAFE and well-behaved when off leash?
